Biography

Lynette Vantreese grew up in Spearfish, South Dakota. After winning numerous state and national music competitions, she was accepted at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she studied songwriting and musical performance. Following graduation, she moved to Nashville, where she gained employment at the record label Star Song Communications, then later the commercial recording studio Hummingbird Productions. It was at Hummingbird that she met her future husband, guitarist, co-writer and producer, Brett Vantreese.
